I'm making progress on the Soul Crushing table runner...
And I've been playing around with Nancy's Quilt up on my design wall. I think I've narrowed it down to one of four possible layouts. All of them have the four squares with the Central Park Zoo fabric in the center running diagonally through the quilt. Layout #1 flanks the Zoo centers with the Blue and Green centers...
Layout #2 is random...
Layout #3 flanks the Zoo with Blue and Orange centered blocks. The Green and Moda animal centers alternate in the corners...
Layout #4 is the same as #3 except the Green and Moda animal centers each dominate a corner...
Hummm.... Thinking, thinking... What do you think?
I'm linking up to WIP in Wednesdays at Freshly Pieced.
Oh, those wonky stars are gorgeous! I just love it! And the Soul Crushing table runner looks great too. Love the name. : )
ReplyDeleteI really love that table runner. I mean really love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go make a wonky star for my do.Good.Stitches bee block. I love them! For yours, I looked at all 4 layouts, and really, I think the random one is the best! Which is saying a lot because I'm not a lover of random...but I just liked it the most. :o)
ReplyDeleteAnd the table runner is really cool, too!
Great projects! Both are just really, really nice!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks great!! Awesome job! I like the random lay out on the quilt.
ReplyDeleteBoth are great...and love the runner...thank you for your lovely comment on my lap quilt...appreciate it..
ReplyDeleteOh, how lovely! What beautiful projects to be working on.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking....they need to come play at my house!
I really like your blog header, looks great. Love the grey that you used in the table runner and the quilt. The stars are nice and I really like that Central Park fabric line. What a nice choice to pair it with the grey. Is that Kona grey you used?
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, that's a lot of pin basting! I think I like the random stars the best.
ReplyDeleteLove that table runner! Your star quilt will be awesome. I think #2 is my favorite.
