100 Followers Giveaway

First of all I want to say thank you to everyone who helped me celebrate my birthday yesterday. All of your well wishes really brightened my day! And remember, the birthday giveaway is still going on until tomorrow. You can enter the Birthday Giveaway here.

Secondly, I hit 100 followers on my birthday yesterday so as promised I have another giveaway to celebrate! I've been recently digging on the new Daisy Janie line Shades of Grey. I think it's so elegant and useful as a staple in any stash so to celebrate breaking 100 followers I'm giving away a full Fat Quarter Set of the entire line. That's 6 fat quarters coming right to one lucky follower!

    I lead such an exciting life. Hopefully we can do some garage cleanout on Saturday, and I also need to do the Annual Spring Doggy-Doodoo Scoop Event on our yard. Yeah! Fun times. Sunday - I don't have to make meals. :) Not sure what else the family will plan for Mother's Day...

    Congrats on 100 followers! and a very generous giveaway :) This weekend, I plan to stay home, mostly, and sew sew sew! I've started hand quilting a small quilt I made recently. This is my first time attempting hand quilting, so it may not look spectacular, but so far its a fun experience!

    Congratulations on 100! It's a big weekend in Louisville with the Derby going on and finally a little bit of sunshine so I'll be spending lots of time at the park with my daughter, watching the race from the comfort of my couch, and hopefully sewing a new diaper bag.     Congrats on 100. I've been lusting after Shades of Grey since they started previewing it. I'm planning on spending the weekend celebrating my baby's 3rd birthday. Of course I'll need to spend some time finishing two of her presents, a new cuddle quilt and a matching double bed quilt for her big girl bed.

    Oh, those are gorgeous. This weekend I am going to SEW!!!!!! Today is the last day of my term and I have all kinds of BOMs to catch up on. I have quilt to label and write up. AND I need to buy some shipping foam and figure out how we're going to secure the electric grand for summer storage when we drive up to St. Louis on Tuesday to bring Heather back home for the summer. :D

    This weekend - I'm so excited to be having a girls night tomorrow for the first time in forever. And of course Sunday is Mothers day. No idea what I'm doing since hubby is traveling, but hopefully he's planning something (haha!)

    I am going to my sister in law's college graduation ceremony! I'm not looking forward to the drive but I have some audio books and hand sewing to occupy me while I sit so that will be nice :)

    Yesterday was an awful tax day, so I didn't have the chance to get online:( So HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY:) Congratulations on your blog growing:)!!!! Your work is awesome, so the more people see it, the more inspired they'll be!!!

    This is the last weekend before my finals so I will be working 20 hour days and looking forward to brushing the dust off my sewing machine soon to get started on the modern architect quilt in black and white I have been planning to celebrate the end of my architecture degree.

    My weekend: Saturday, I'm taking my dog swimming (long story) and then going to my niece's dance recital. Sunday: Hopefully, if my family guesses correctly about what I want for Mother's Day, I'll be sleeping in and doing a lot of sewing. Now wasn't that a fascinating glimpse into my exciting, glamorous life? : )

    This weekend, we will be taking the niece and nephew miniature golfing (putt-putting), to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch, then to the nephew's soccer game. On Sunday, we are going out to lunch with my in-laws.

    Grey has been one of those colors that I'm just beginning to experiment with...don't know why it never occured to me to use it as a neutral before...I don't like black background quilts and white are just too pristine for my old home...grey is so well suited for my situation. I'd be happy to give these fqs a new home and a special airing in a just for me quilt! :)

    Uhhggg! I forgot to let you know my plans: there aren't any...hubby is working nights, so no dinner out. We took a drive yesterday and just spent the day together..my favorite way to celebrate anything! I'm expecting calls from the kids however!

    i love those fabrics... my foster baby's name is Gray so I've become partial lately to the color. =)

    this weekend I am going to a spa party (which is also a school fundraiser) for tired mommas on Saturday day, then to a family friendly art studio open house for a friend and finally Sunday we're headed to Malibu after church to celebrate Mother's Day in the fabulous backyard of some of our family

    My parents flew in from California for a visit. I went to my first ever military ball and we spent the day looking at the progress on our house we are having built. Tomorrow I get to spend my second mother's day with my own mom on her 33rd mother's day. I'm really happy about that!
